Gone fishin!

Today a friend (Angel ) took me to fun place called Old Time Pottery. We were there All day. This store had everything fun to artificial flowers, pots, metal decor, furniture, sheets, rugs, pictures, frames for .99 cents., Cooking ware, all house items, About everything you would need to make your house beautiful and fun. I bought the kids some little fishing nets. We have some baby fish and little tad poles close to the shore. They had so much fun, even the neighbor kids came to join in on the fun.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

A new Tradition we have started about three years ago.

Our day starts off with the kids waking up to Leprechaun foot prints leading to the pot of Gold. The Leprechaun leaves a trail of gold, clovers, candy and confetti. We leave to chest empty under a windowsill where the moon will shine on it. And the leprechaun fills the box with gold candy coins, gold wrapped candy and jewels. . The kids are so excited to found where the treasure chest was hidden. They now look forward to it every year.


Then for dinner we have an ALL green dinner. Corn beef and cabbage, pear-lime jello, green rolls, with green butter, lime soda, and green mashed potatoes. We all had fun. Once again
Dad was at work. But was thought of in our hearts.
